I honestly couldn't imagine going to work for like 10 hours everyday, sleep about 8, and then have like 4-6 hours left for myself 5 times a week.

The weekend would just be a short break from the same boring routine until retirement.

Just getting a job and working to be able to have a relationship with some girl that isn't even a virgin, might cheat, dumps or divorces you after she gets bored of you or finds someone who is better looking or is more willing to spend resources for her sounds like such a bad deal.

Or am I missing something?

In a welfare state like Sweden or Germany, yes. Or a shithole where 90% of the jobs are low skill. In a country where you can actually make a lot more money than the average person by working hard and improving your skills then, no.

Unironically in rich countries career and high paying jobs and good careers matter more than they do in poor countries or socialist ones

I live in Germany. I can save some money because I became more low inhibition lately and started stealing stuff. Barely pay for groceries now. Lol
