Is it neccessary to do maxilla/mandible width expansion or should i just go for bimax?

I'll probably waste years of my life doing MSDO/MSE when I could just be doing Trimax. I do have a narrow mouth and narrow arches but can't I just fix that (or at least the teeth) with braces?

Sorry if I'm spamming with these width expansion questions but it's better than people asking how to lose bf i guess

No, you can do everything you need to do in under a year.

yeah i think MSE just on its own would be bad for me as well since my zygos are wider than lower jaw but it could do something together with MSDO. it gives you a wide mouth and a lot of teeth showing while smiling which is very aesthetic

MSE is mostly functional, it has sound theory on paper but I learned from my own MSE that there are many more factors to include that increase the difficulty, most importantly age.

I think MSE gained popularity because of its accessibility. I wouldve liked jaw surgery but its not as affordable.

You can't fix a narrow palate with bracers but you will have to get bracers before bimax anyways.
I think it would be worth getting MSE first and then bracers to fix the gaps and prepare for bimax. Then get bimax.

I get what it claims to do. The only issue is that I've never seen results.

No, I don't think so.

Your surgeon can widen your maxilla during a bimax

yeah ik but i need lower jaw expansion as well. my zygos are already wider than my mandible

To understand MSE more clearly one should not get it for aesthetic purposes if they have a narrow mandible?

yeah i think that wouldn‘t make any sense

There are only a handful of surgeons that perform msdo. So you would need to fly to another country and get this invasive expansion with high infection risk.
