depends on the name change
if you've completely changed your first name i'd recommend moving cities/countries bc youve essentially changed your identity and people you already know will be extremely suspicious/inquisitive as to why you'd change your entire first name (notice how the first thought someone had when replying to your post was that you had committed a crime)
if changed any of your surnames, i wouldn't recommend moving bc who even cares

Why would you change cities unless you where attempting to start a new life/ new identity.
Question is....Why even change your name. If its strictly for vanity there's 0 reason to change cities. Just tell everyone you hated the name you where born with and this ones more fitting.
