Is it normal for guys to randomly unfollow you on Instagram?

I can understand when women do it, but guys UNfollowing other guys? This is what happens, like I'll meet a guy in a club when I'm cold approaching guys to get in state, we'll have a good convo, then add each other on Insta, then a few days later I notice they unfollowed me. These fuckers don't even have the courtesy of removing me from their followers either so I have to go through and figure out who unfollowed me. I basically never unfollow other guys because I don't give a fuk and I actually don't care about other guys because most are boring to me, I'm just curious if this is normal and what the reason is.
