This behavior is totally normal. I can relate to this heavily even though i'm only 18. I do stuff that i don't like but I am always yearning for the enjoyment period after that. I don't really like the work/studies i do.
But when it comes to stuff like hobbies and passions, it is significantly more relieving. I'm not an ambitious person at all btw.
