I was working and asked my coworkers if their back hurt, mind you this was 2 hours in

I might have scoliosis or it might be cause of my height but I’m legit not tall enough to have complications what do I do

It’s a easy job the back pain is just making me wanna quit

How can I prevent or fix this

Your core is strong and your lower back is weak. Try training lower back more. It will maybe increase your height slightly if you have shit posture

Tall problems. You gotta workout your back and stretch.

What exercises other than deadlift can train my lower back

@ArvidGustavsson
Fellow scoliosiscel does this happen to you too?

Gn tho I’m tured

it used to happen to me too when i had a job that required standing all day. i’m tall too, 6’5”

i recommend yoga tbh, go on youtube and search for “lower back pain yoga” and there is a ton of helpful stretches that will alleviate the pain

You need to strengthen your back-core, fix any postural imbalances, and you can do some xrays to see if you are deformed. My ex-gf had scholiosis as a kid and fixed it with swimming, but she would complaint of lower back pain if standing for long.

Yes, I worked as an extra on more than a dozen of movies and TV shows, sometimes I would stand for 10-12 hours, it's pretty normal for everyone working on a film set, in the first few days your back will hurt, after a week your back will get stronger and the pain disappears...

How can I prevent or fix this
Take frequent breaks, sit on a chair or lie down.

So just suck it up until my body gets used to it?

as a 6'4 dude I can relate

Yes - rest, massage, take a warm bath, use anti-inflammatory gel, etc. until your body gets used with this.
