First off, you will want to get a second mirror, one that's handheld. Hold it near your face, not directly in front but in front and out to the side, then stand backwards away from the main mirror. Angle the handheld mirror 45 degrees tilted.

People get used to their face so they overreact to any slight deviation. Your face could actually be ugly or good looking, but it takes a bit of effort to be objective about it.

I think once guys start rating their faces objectively, their experiences with women will start to make more sense. The biggest deviation isn’t camera vs mirror, but instead objectivity when it comes to rating.
