Try to this summer or just as soon as possible to get your permit/temporary license or whatever it’s called for you and get good to get your drivers license asap so the longer you have it (even if you’re not driving) the lower your insurance costs is

Yeah, I didn't get my license till 17. I had driven a car many times in rural areas since 13 though so I had some practice. If you get a license just try to be on guard against the bastard police, as they'll give you bullshit tickets for going over the limit in safe areas. Gotta get myself a radar detector to give myself more of a chance of detecting the police before they detect me after getting caught a few weeks ago. Managed to go 3 years without getting pulled over but just got unlucky that day. Wish we didn't have to worry about these scumbags when driving and that the US would raise highway speed limits to a proper level instead of most being so low
