Is it normal to not longer like your childhood friends ?

I still have friends that i know from where i was still a kid . I really loved to spend time with them and was really eager to meet them . But thats not longer the case . I feel like i have nothing to talk about with them anymore . Plus i got the realization on how they were threating me in the past . @Gengar @optimisticzoomer

I have one friend from school who I occasionally speak to
Was friends from 2015 to 2021 when we finished
We message maybe a couple of times a year and see each other probably as often

But he has changed. He used to be kind of nerdy, but now he likes drinking, clubbing etc

The last time we met up it was decent in the end, but a bit awkward at first. Anyway, I told him I’m available to meet up any weekend, but he hasn’t said anything since, and this was a few months ago

i can barely remember most of ppl i knew when i ws a kid and im sure they think the same abt me. there were fun memories but it ws only location based and out of convenience for most. there r better ppl to find
