Is it normal to only try to be NT when you like someone?

If I don't like someone I just act like a sperg and give 0 fucks. If I like someone I act like whatever they want me to be then when we're comfortable I act like my ultra sperg self. I know most people put more effort into people they want a friendship/relationship with, but I've noticed most normies will act like some social chameleon with everyone. I've tried to do it but my cortisol is too high when I say something I don't agree with just to fit in. So basically i answered this shit myself XD.
