Is it normal to still have acne after 10 months of taking Accutane?

I'm in my 10th month of using Accutane and I'm still getting acne; I currently have 2 or 3 pimples on my face. Will my skin get better after I finish Accutane, or will it get better while I'm using it?

yes a pimple or two is normal, also depends on what kind of acne it is and how much isotretinoin you're taking

I took 2000 mg more than the total number of mg I was supposed to take.

Did you take it with enough fat? If not you really absorbed less than half of medication

No, not necessarily normal, consult with your dermatologist and see if she's willing to up the dose.

Depends on dosage, how many mg's are you on and how many pounds do you weigh?
