As for your question, yes. It's weird you even have a DSLR. You could probably sell that and get a luxury smartphone from 2022. The phone cameras are good enough to replace DSLRs, some even have multiple lenses. If you were trying to look better, again for some reason, Photoshop and learning to morph photographs in it would be the next thing to peruse.

That's what I believe is caused by the different focal lengths between the phone camera and the DSLR. But the short focal length from the phone camera can be compensated for by increasing the focal distance, the distance between yourself and the phone camera. Although this will make the resulting photograph from that distance low resolution.
Another poster above suggested cropping the dslr from the photograph. Try that.

Use the telephoto lens on the iPhone. You are just describing lens distortion. Even an old 12 Pro would be good for what you’re doing - the 2x telephoto is equivalent to the maximum focal length of most DSLR and as long as you have good lighting the sensor size is a non issue.

If you try to take a zoom photo on an iPhone in low light it will use the main lens and do a digital zoom by cropping the image instead of using the telephoto lens. This results in a shit and grainy image.

Lighting is key - you can either upgrade your lighting so the telephoto phone lens can cope, or use a larger sensor (DSLR). There are also apps that allow you to force the iPhone to use a particular sensor but they are not free.
