Is it ok if i talk with multiple girls who are interested in me at the same time?

like once in a while i get texted from random girls in my city or that are friends with other friends of mine. And i usually show a bit of interest towards them but i give them mixed signals so they dont randomly confess to me, since it would make me feel a bit worse if i rejected them after a lot of “friendly talk”.
