I use it when I need to stay up for more than 24hrs AKA studying. I’ve gone 80+hrs on less than 2g modafinil easily and oddly enough, I didn’t even want to sleep by then.

My executive functioning is awful

I use it for ADD and in conjunction with adderall

I rotate em adderall when studying modafinil for general wakefulness etc

It’s not a dangerous drug. You’ll be able to sleep at night still. Just pop one midday so you get a gist of it. It takes a while to kick in anyway, I believe it’s at peak blood conc. at abt 5 hours post-dose.

Its not addictive but 200mg every day could fuck with your sleep and cause you to build a tolerance over time, and you'll feel flatter without it like people who drink loads of coffee
Use it on days you really need to be productive or got poor sleep and take it early in the morning

Yeah even on like 150mg hunger signalling is a lot weaker and it also just quietens any impulses or signals like hunger and dehydration because of the tunnel vision anyways

I definitely got the hand tremors and muscle clenching (got a crazy full body pump and a lot of vascularity from it) but it lowkey just destroyed any exam anxiety I had I was both ridiculously locked in and entirely derealized whilst I was on it

100-200mg its a clean focus booster. Makes you feel very locked-in and tunnel-visioned towards whatever task you're doing, boosts motivation. Majorly improves cognition if you're sleep deprived to near baseline levels, can keep you awake for ages.
At 300-400 it anecdotally seemed to be more motivating and mood boosting but also makes you a little manic at whatever task you're doing and comedown is rougher, you'll get tremors and bruxism at this much. Gives a bit of a feeling of dread.
Don't go above 400mg you'll just get more palpitations, tremors and anxiety and you'll feel like a zombie.
Interestingly modafinil seems to majorly debloat my face but makes my gut bloated af
