I've had braces for a few months and i have an orthodontist appointment tmr and there is a possibility i will be getting elastics. Ik there is a huge beleif that orthos love to recess ur maxilla by bringing upper jaw or lower jaw backwords to "fix" bites. Can i just ask my orthodontist to pull my upper jaw forward or what? hes really young for an ortho like mid 20's so i think he might be open to what i have to say. Give me ur guy's advice pls
