I never said it would be easy for him, but women definitely notice if you're insecure about specific physical traits.
With his height, he can't afford to come across as an insecure weakling.

And yes, confidence, and having a masculine brain, so to speak, matters as well.
Though, I get that minors often refuse to believe anything beyond „looks are everything“.
