my bite isn’t aligned so maybe fixing that will fix my mandible recession

even heavy af devices like a palate expander or mse cant open the sutures past a certain age. why would chewing gum help? u need sarpe to open the suture

Yea I meant it like it would help different aspects of your face tho like chewing gum is always beneficial to strenghten the masseter muscle (for me it does great improvement on my face too, I get more hollowed cheeks)

tbh the only thing that works for jaw recession is lf1 + bsso aka bimax

but like i said u can try softmaxing first and see how good u pull. if ur front is good i wouldnt get bimax for a minor recession as every surgery comes with big risks (nerv damage, undesired looks, asyemmtry, hard recovery) etc.

not to mention its expensive and takes several years with braces + swelling
