Like if they know our phone number, can they trace our location and details without help from authorities???

Impossible, using your phone number they could get some basic details about you from your network provider.
They will have to do this through a contact or friend as a call center representative but your phone number does not somehow magically give someone access to your GPS co-ordinates.

If you stop and think about this for more than 30 seconds it should become apparent that if this were the case it would be a security and privacy catastophe worldwide. Even IP addresses only give a very rough and approximate location of you. The police with a warrant however can track you down with your IMEI number and with help from your service provider

This code applies only to telephones tho, not mobile phones and it usually covers a large area. The 707 area code is located in NorCal, and covers well over a million phone numbers.

Without the authorities not likely, and you could solve this issue with a burner phone. Even if the number is traced it wouldn't give your real info unless you bought with a debit card and registered your real name ( the police would only have the ability to do that ), And for the authorities yea if your in trouble first thing you do is delete everything, microwave the phone ( it makes it impossible recover) ditch the phone. The microwave part have to to be careful, you could alternatively burn it after getting rid of the SIM card and battery, or burn it with it. In theory they wouldn't be able to get anything even if they were to somehow by some. miracle even find the spot where you did this and reconstruct it.

Hey thanks bud! But the thing is we have a card here in our country which is mandatory for everyone and it has our biometrics data. When we buy a new Sim, we should add that cards data to database. So they have our fingerprints and stuff when we buy a new sim
