I am a skinny twink that gets called skinny often. 68kg at 178cm. Its literally impossible for me to build muscles. I go to the gym for months, and nothing happens. Once i go up in calories i get bloated and a fluffy belly.
Should i go all in and just eat 3k calories and give a shit about bloating and looking lean, and then in 6 months do a diet/cut?

Yes, eating in a slight surplus is a great way to know what genetics you have

good -> will gain muscles, little fat

average -> 50% / 50% , a bit more fat in the first month of two

shit -> you will gain fat with little muscle, then cutting will cause you to lose that muscle

The human body gains muscle and fat at the same time, and loses muscle and fat at the same time. Diet and exercise just change the ratio of muscle-to-fat.

Your options are:
1) Get over the fact that you will gain a little bit of fat
2) Take PED's.

That's it. It is that simple. Tons of skinny guys ask this same question.

PEDs are the best solution.

IMO no, if you take PED's for a significant amount of time, you have to make that commitment for the long term.

Skinny guys (including myself) always ask the same questions starting off at the gym. Try to keep in mind that you are not special OP, your body works the same way as any other human's. You do not have some magic metabolism that makes infinite amounts of food disappear.

Increasing your muscle will make your body fat percent less. You must have really good diet and workout routine.

Any serious looksmaxxer will take PEDs eventually, so why not start younger? No reason to if you're under 25-30 depending on genes, but you will need them in your mid 30s and later.

And I would say you have to gain slightly weight because 178 cm would look good in 72-73 but ıt also depends your bone strecture.Go to this weights slowly and 1 month to 2 month cut

You probably aren’t focusing on strength training (literally getting stronger on the main lifts), and yeah a slight surplus is optimal, don’t fall for the bulking meme, is just a waste of time.

I would start with roids tonight, but hairloss makes it impossible. I finally stabilized norwooding with finasteride.

I was 83kg very lean, 7 years ago :( Now at 27 i feel like my muscle building potential got a lot worse. I fell into a big depression 2 years ago, lost 10kg of muscles and got skinny fat. Had very high prolactin and low t, doctor even prescribed me trt but i never took it.
Its so brutal for me to walk into the gym as one of the skinniest guys that looks like a newbie, even though i train for almost 10 years and was one of the biggest guys a few years ago.

Don't listen to this bullshit OP. Bulking is THE ONLY way to gain weight in the long term. if you want to put on more than about 5 pounds of muscle, you MUST bulk. The only exception is fat guys.

No you’re always gonna gain fat

Obviously bulking makes you gain muscle way faster but what’s the point if you will look ugly af and will take months to lose the blubber.

You can still put muscle but slowly if you do a slight surplus and focus on getting stronger while also looking good year round

Your statement is misleading: Bulking is the only way to put on a lot of muscle, period. You cannot recomp from 130 pounds to 165 pounds, period. "Putting on muscle slowly" means being inefficient and ultimately putting on less muscle.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. I said bulking makes you gain muscle faster, but it takes months to lose the blubber , and you lose muscle in the process.

intead you can gain muscle slower while maintaining six pack abs, like I do and the many people in my gym as well, and we are natural.

You must be an impresionable gymcel who pays for workout programs and meal plans and follows YouTube fitness channels

Let me make this simple:

If you want to gain muscle as a non-fat, natty lifter, you have to increase body weight. Some of that increase in body weight will be fat.

Now you can add caveats to that. Fat looks different on different people. Fat looks like less fat on a more muscular frame. Despite all that, there is no such thing as truly "lean gains" for underweight men who are not on drugs.

If you are putting on any appreciable amount of weight, and you are not already fat, you are gaining some fat in the process. You might look leaner due to more mass, but you are in fact gaining fat. This is a fact of human biology.

Ironic you would say this, because every gimmicky fitness guru promises lean gains. Lean gains are an illusion for lazy people, unless you start taking drugs. They don't want to do hard exercises, they don't want to spend a few years seeing gradual progress, so they go for these gimmicky programs.

Let me repeat the basic fact of the matter to make things simple for anyone reading this:

The human body gains muscle and fat at the same time, and loses muscle and fat at the same time.

Bullshit, I have gained muscle while having a six pack year round, if I can everybody can

If you gain muscle "without gaining weight," it really means you are gaining muscle and losing weight during alternating periods of the week (a few days gaining, a few days losing). It is an extremely inefficient way to gain muscle that shouldn't be recommended to anyone.

"Maingaining" (maintaining weight while gaining muscle) for non-fat people is pseudoscience.

I do gain weight but slowly, about 1lbs a month, but I know is all muscle and not fat or water. My bench went from 185lbs to 315lbs 1 rep max in a year while maintaining a six pack
