Is it possible to get max impaction without a gummy smile?

Everywhere I read about this procedure it says about how they perform it to fix a gummy smile. But what if a person just has an overly long maxilla which leads to having a long philtrum, but show no excessive gingival display.

Bonus question, what's the average philtrum length? Measured from the bottom of the nose to the middle of the lips.

yes im getting maxillary impaction and i dont have a gummy smile, its too long giving me functional issues like speach and lip incompetence. also your maxilla length dosent affect your philtrum
