Feels like when you are, the tiniest social mistake gets blown up and people make you seem much worse than you are.

social awkwardness/anxiety comes from insecurity or lack of experience socialising tbh..you have to fix the root cause instead of trying to live with it as if its some incurable thing you got from birth

I was a fairly confident social kid until puberty and highschool where my looks descended (went from cute to cutecel) and then i subconciosly learned my place in the social hiarchy and lost my confidence and became aspie, because i knew in my head "people can see i'm unattractive" so i became aspie and awkward when socialising because i knew most people were at least unknowingly judging me negatively due to my appearance, now im fixing it with losing weight and surgeries.

I remember a gymbro telling me "I dirty bulked and developed really bad social anxiety because my face got really puffy and unnattractive and it made me feel uncomfortable"

pretty much proof its a universal experience

You should try working on your underlining cause For being socially awkward. I remember Back when I was like 22 I was Out and talking to some guys. I was deathly afraid They would somehow sniff Out that I lived with My parents Back then. Almost all anxieties like these Are very stupid. Now at an older age I would just Make Jokes If I lived with My parents. Im not insecure about anything in a regular Day Scale. Of course I feel mogged If I stand next to a 6'8 Guy but it is what it is. Dont stress about stuff.
