Is it possible to only pull the maxilla forwards and not rotate it?

I am wondering if it’s possible to solely pull the maxilla forwards and not rotate it CW or CCW because I want the appearance of a longer lower third. This is assuming that the mandible follows the maxilla. The gonial angle is not changed because there is no rotation, so obviously this will work.
