This seems like cope tbh. If a new guy joins a group and he’s on a similar wavelength with the main members (ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL) he’ll integrate into the group with time and mog the old guard followers. But ofc you have to be likeable and someone who contributes. I’ve seen this happen plenty of times but maybe it changes after college.
If you’re an odd character you obviously need to be a group founder so the culture of the social circle involves you. Otherwise you’re not going to fit in.
Status halo probably helps too short term (group members suck you off) but you won’t be real friends with them tbh
TLDR: If you’re non NT you need to be there at the beginning of social circles or it’s over. If you’re NT and fit in you can join circles at any time.
