Is it retarded to have saddled infra implants after lower eyelid retraction ?

I have surgeries for Lower eyelid retraction + canthoplasty scheduled in 2 months. I already paid the deposit so there's no coming back unless I'm ready to lose a big chunk of money.

Is it retarded to have infraorbital saddled malar implants after all those surgeries ? They seem to cover the same purpose which is offering tighter lower eyelid support.

Won't the implant placement risk to destroy the results or the previous surgeries (fat repositioning and canthoplasty ?)

I might be wrong but isn't the whole purpose of a saddled implant to raise the lower eyelid ? If yes than why the fuck would you not go with just a simple infra implant to save some money

Because soft tissue surgeries may fail overtime. It's pretty common to see people have revision canthoplasty/lower blepharoplasty because of lower eyelid retraction that became even worse than before the surgery.
