I bulked a lot when I was a teenager. I went from 130 lbs to 165 lbs at around 5'9" at the time (today I am 5'10.) BIG regret. I went from about 10% BF to 18% bodyfat. Now I am trying to get down to 15% bodyfat and its very hard. Whould have stayed at 155 (about 13% bodyfat) and kept my maintaine weight there.

in my opinion starting the gym in general is a good start but do whatever u wanna do in the sense that if u wanna get bigger eat more but clean while consistenly going gym, if u wanna lose weight and leanmax which is honestly the better more appealing look you should consistently go gym maintain a calorie deficit with higher protein and less carbohydrates to maximise ur weightlosstitle
