Bio availability is how much of a nutrient will be absorbed by your body.
You know people that tell you "there is as much protein in this vegetable than in this kind of meat"
While this might be true, proteins from meat are much more absorbed (and thus bio available) than proteins from vegetables
So if you eat 100g of vegetable proteins you will absorb 40g but on 100g of meat proteins you will absorb 80g, those are made up numbers btw
Same goes for every nutrient, you have the quantity of nutrients in a product but what matters is its quality: its bio availability

Depends on what they are. Some vitamins/minerals can interfere with the absorption of other ones. Also you will absorb fat soluble vitamins much better by taking them with food containing fat.
