Is it truly over with non-saddled malar implants?

I’m discussing the possibility of getting malar/infraorbital implants. This forum has a preference for saddled implants, and apparently non-saddled implants are garbage.

Is this yet another exaggeration of this forum, or non-saddled implants are a bad cope? My motivation for non-saddled is that saddled seem to entail much bigger risk with the eyes.

Yep saddled is the way to go if you want to reduce scheral show and clear eye bags. Non saddled infraorbital implants are really just midface implants that can get rid of negative orbital vector.

You can always go with fat grafting alongside non saddled infraorbital implants

But you solve the problems with you mention with canthoplasty and canthopexy, don’t you?

Well you would need that if you have have severe scheral show from droopy eyelid for e.g. but saddled infraorbital implants can eliminate minor scheral show on there own.

Non saddled infraorbital orbital implants don’t push lower eyelid up at all. But ye, these alongside cantho would work.

Does the fat grafting alongside normal implants look as good as saddled? I’m afraid of getting saddled due to risk of blindness.
