Is it worth it to shampoo your hair after getting a perm?

Hey guys, so i got a perm 2 days ago and i haven’t wet it yet but is it ok to shampoo and condition your hair after 3 days i mean the perm sets in yk so u just have to take care of your hair the hairtype u permed it to so i went from wavy to curly so i should take care of it like curly but even if its 3 days and the perm has set in i think maybe using conditioner and a leave in would be a better option so u dont loosen the curls, wyd y'all think?

thanks im just gonna condition but im still thinking about shampoo cuz i think ur hair is gonna smell like perm solution and there are some chemicals i think and the reason i went from wavy to curly is because curly hair is just a big halo yk, but it all just depends on how u style it if ur gonna style it like a broccoli there is a good chance your hair would look terrible if u just style the right way it can give u a halo effect so its worth it

wavy looks so much better and styled or not gives a bigger halo + easier to fraud certain ratios with it since you can't really grow out curly hair on the sides without looking like a homeless bum
do you have long hair or? I mean even if long wavy looks better

before my perm my hair could like strech almost to my chin but it kinda was like 2b so it shrank so my hair would be like till my nose now its till my eyes but bro trust me wavy hair is good but trust me u need to understand how to style curly hair many girls like curly btw

it's hell to live with curly hair, to wash everyday style and it still looks like shit
and the growing out process is also hell since you look like a retard and even when it's grown out it looks bad or not good as straight/wavy hair

that's just my personal experience
