Is it worth paying 15k for hair transplant?

I got quoted 14k for 3000 graft transplant at a famous clinic in brussels. Then i need another 1k for flight and hotel. So 15k total. When i compare it to 3-5k transplants in turkey, im not sure if its worth to pay more than double the amount...
Can someone give me advice?

Turkish surgeons are actually really skilled at it if you don't go to the cheapest sweat shop. This isn't like leg-lengthening or Lefort that could leave you crippled if you chose the wrong surgeon, a literal ape could perform a HT. You'll probably need a second surgery anyway to get the desired density. and then you'll be at 20.000ish in brussels vs 5k in turkey.

Also in turkey they surgery will not get done by the surgeon, but instead by assistants and nurses. Often times the donor area can get destroyed by taking out too many hairs. Then a second transplant is impossible.

Brussels is one of the highest income and most expensive countries in the world, while turkey is not.

Same in the west. No matter where you get it done. Usually the surgeon only places them into the holes.

Yeah, because people with a NW7 think they somehow can get a full head of hair again. Of course they won't send them away, as it is still money in the end, but you can't expect to have good results if your hair is already too far gone.

Be more moderate with your graft count the first few times and rather come back than to rape your donor area.

I did a hairline lowering 2 weeks ago at one of the best turkish specialists. Cost me... 2750. With accommodation. 2000 grafts.

I cannot say yet about the growth, but IMO hair transplant is such a procedure, that you would be quite stupid to pay 15k for it. 15k is the price of basic cheek implants at Murican Epply. This is ridiculous.

Are you black? What are the reasons you have to specifically go to Belgian surgeons?. For most surgeons in EU/Murica, a Turkish technician >> EU/American surgeon. Why? because the procedure is simple and they repeat it a lot MORE than their western counterparts.

The doctor is only important for the hairline design. So you should find a Turkish surgeon, who does at least the hairline channel opening.

TL;DR Hair transplant does not carry as large inherent risks as other plastic surgery like jaw surgery or rhino. In the worst case, your hair does not grow (rare). In the best case, you pay a few thousand for a full head of hair (at least 90% cases). Expected gain is very large outside of EU/Murica.

Yes, it makes sense.

But most importantly, you should check that they do the most of the procedure themselves, or at least channel opening. And they should do 1-3 hair transplants a day at the clinic: means it is not a hair mill.

CIvas is the best on this list BUT he is VERY conservative. He refused to lower my hairline, saying my inborn norwood-3 hairline was "natural" and how it should be

Thats expensive af, in Serbia or Croatia 3000 grafts at reputable professional clinic costs 5000$ at most. Going to these first world countries where salaries are high is absurd since cost of HT will be high as well despite being done by your average surgeon/doctor.

you can go to an expensive turkish clinic, which is like ~5k for the same result as 15k in brussels

only surgeon who is worth the 15k is dr juan couto (fuexpert clinic) from spain he does GIGA mogger results but he has a waiting list of 1-2 years

Actually, HT in europe will be WORSE for a higher price. Simply because HT is Usually a side gig for most plastic surgeons. So, they cut boobs 24/7, and then they do an occasional HT once in a blue moon. For which you pay 10k euro.

The European surgeon transection rate will be abysmal, it will be WORSE than what HAIR TECHNICIANS do in Turkey, Im not even talking about Turkish HT surgeons.

It is bullshit TBH. I also thought that. But now I am certain, that
1) Hair transplant is not that complicated to require such 'high' expertise
2) Turkish surgeons DO POSSESS eye for aesthetics and SKILL. Just check their insta if in disbelief.

Turkish surgeons do better than EU/Murican counterparts. honestly, i dont even understand who is doing transplants in murica/eu... it is not even about the price... it is about the results: reputable Turkish surgeon's results are better.
