I live in a third world country, and medicine here is seven years long of study. Should I go through or not? Doctors here get paid less than 50 USD a month, and you have to leave and immigrate in order to actually make money so you would have to sit all these extra exams z Is this worth it? My other choice would be to study CS and work for a company abroad and earn in USD while living here. What’s the best choice?

i mean ig it depends what other jobs are avalaible, but generally speaking id say do it and the immigrate somewhere else where ur skills will be more appreciated, also where tf do u live for 50 bucks a month are u somali or something

If you can move to other country and be a doctor there with your degree that's best situation. Doctors are always in high demand and make a lot of money in most of the world.

I'm a medical student and i'm going through the same shit, and probably you from Egypt cuz doctors there earn 50$ per month.

i see it depends on your patience, if you can wait, then finish your medical degree and do a medical licensing exam for the country you wanna immigrate to (USMLE, PLAB, etc...). Salaries there are pretty good

If you can't wait for all these years of studying, then yeah just work for a multinational company or try to find any chance in your field that sponsers your visa so you can immigrate.

Hope we both can immigrate and leave this shithole place.
