Yes and no.

Morally, the age gap is fine DEPENDING on viewpoint. 16 and 18 is 2 years apart, not exactly the best in many people's eyes, but it's not too bad. HOWEVER, highschool junior and college freshman sounds bad to people. Don't phrase it like that in any public setting.

Legally, it's also acceptable, but it depends on the age of consent laws in your country (or state if you're in the US)

What I believe you are really looking for is if NTcels will judge you or not. I'd say 75% of the time, they will, as they don't have a grasp on AOC laws and have a shitty moral compass. But here's the thing - most parents already have an age gap MUCH worse then that. My parents were dating since around college and have a 3-4+ year age gap. Many parents do. Some have even up to decades, some are celebrities that are 80 years old dating fresh out of college models. It happens.

So your answer - to us, no, its fine, but to normies (most of the time) yes, it's immoral
