Exactly, it's still not the #1 preference, yet they are willing to accept it because they are becoming more open to fully masculine traits which they'd just dislike if they were younger.

I completely agree that a chiseled jawline mogs any kind of facial hair, but lots of girls are into stubble, although they're usually at least in their 20s. It can be a valid alternative to clean shaven if your jaw looks good. Huge beards are almost always a looksmin, yet they can work on some people (for example Tom Hardy) and older women are not nearly as disgusted by them as younger girls.
