Here I'm imagining the bone undernesth being pulled down while the "top"of the nose stays the same. With this the nostrils should get more exposure and become more flared if that makes sense

Ok, so the cut is made right under where the nose ends? I could honestly maaybe see it enlarging the nostils and potentially flaring them as the base gets pulled down while the bridge and the skin and tissue stays up does that make sense?

I only see it becoming better tbh or no change because the cut isnt being made above anterior nasal spine.
