if it was a good movie the narrtive would have been completely inverted: the main character would have been a dweebish nerd loser but would have properly understood his feeling of estrangement and his being bullied and would have joined cobra kai, worked hard to improve himself and earn the respect of his teachers/peers, would have been integrated into the fraternal order and the existing culture, won the tournament with his bros, gotten a girl, etc.
