Is KJ Apa's hair color a halo?

In pictures where his hair is dyed a darker auburn color, it looks exactly like my natural hair. Is this a halo? people tend to compliment it heavily due to it's rarity, as opposed to light red hair which has no contrast. My skin is naturally a light tan and I have dark eyebrows, with a Med/Celt phenotype, so similar coloration to him.
