Virtually everywhere I looked online it says that the surgery was about 3000$.

I paid $3000. It was in June 2023.

IMO worth it if you’re in a career (not just a job) where speaking is incidental. Surgeon was very good. I can testify that his office and hospital are better thank 95% of the UK options.

I have a deep voice now. Maybe the only regret is that I didn’t go deeper. Just be aware that you’re not going to be able to speak normally for 28+ days durong recovery. It will be obvious that you can’t speak properly to anyone you speak to. Scar is nil and nothing to ever worry about (and I scar easily).

Do people respect you more now? Did the way people talk with you change? I feel like my voice doesn't match the way I look at all, and it makes me alot more introvert cause I hate it.
