Is laughing and talking with your own thoughts bad

Most of the time when I'm in my room, I laugh at jokes that I make up in my head.I barely laugh when someone makes a joke in real life because most people just aren't funny.But when it's only me with my thoughts I can have conversations with them, they make funny jokes and they actually understand me.My thoughts are basically like the only people who would never betray me unlike my "friends",they would never lie to me and actually tell me the blunt truth that I need to hear.
