Thinking about studying law at uni in the UK. From a pure ROI perspective is it actually worth it?
I know top firms pay well, but I’ve heard it’s oversaturated unless you go to a top uni. Would you say law is a good move compared to other degrees, especially outside Oxbridge.
Pls don't bother responding with uni/college is cope i really don't want to hear it.

Assuming you are smart then yes it is worth it. Grad schools almost always have a positive ROI for a real profession.

that what networking is for I guess
Even rothschilds aren't considered part of british high life after hundreds of years. Networking is cope in this case. Unless you're extremely exceptional it's not possible

like filling out 100 formulas in a row and standing in court for hours discussing the same shit over and over

UK is a dump lets all try and get out while we can

i mean u certainly have to have some interest. law school is fucking hard and boring, you cant adderall your way through it like ug

also i would get the fuck out of the uk but thats just me

a lot of people also flunk out of law school after 1-2 semesters, but you just dont hear about them, you only hear about the people who get through and become lawyers
you are held to a much higher standard

no everyone that i know that has a law degree is unemployed despite going to top unis very hard to break in now because they made the law conversion courses stupidly easy literally all you need is any degree to become a lawyer in the uk now and its on the same level as fucking cs oversaturation in the uk. your best bet is to study something analytical like finance or better yet get a degree apprenticeship sure you probably wont go anywhere near front office with it but atleast you’ll have a decently paying job

law degree is a waste of time. any degree that isnt medical is a waste of time. do a degree apprenticeship. guaranteed job at the end at a good company + degree. my bro did this and now makes bank whilst wfh doing nothing.
