If you mean "is it scientifically proven?" then no. It does line up with research though so in that sense yes, yes it is. You act in accordance with your expectations, those behaviors shape your environment, your environment gives feed back to your head

You expect a negative attitude from someone, you behave abnormally towards them, they inturn act with a negative attitude to your behavior, you gain the feed back of "this person did have a negative attitude".

Read about Banduras triadic reciprocal causation. Or other related concepts like self fulfilling prophecy and known biases that arise from it like confirmation bias. There's even a fancy name for this: "Pygmalion effects" where your expectations of something or your assumption can improve the likelihood of that outcome happening or performance in a given task.
