In AI and machine learning, yes. Software engineering less so imo. ML is more specialized while software development can be outsourced overseas to people without degrees.

A lot of software dev is proecdural and can be done by gen AI now so it’s more competitive and there’s greater wage compression.

I'm not learning to code to land a job or get employed. My focus is on building something profitable that generates strong cash flow. In that case, outsourcing and wage compression aren’t concerns what matters is creating something scalable and profitable.

Okay but wage compression from outsourcing and AI affects profit margins. Machine learning is highly profitable and scalable with a good gpu.

There are online jobs where you get paid by the hour (like 20$ ) to do testing on your own schedule. It can aggregate to decent money if you work long hours. Not sure if that appeals though.

its nearly impossible to find a job with a computer science degree because of how satured it is, there is too many people and in the most cases where people get employed is on a job that underpaying them for their work

python is the most popular in that field, you can learn python anyhwere thats literally one if not the most popular coding language, you probably studied a small part of pyhton in elementary/middle school because its beginner-friendly and not that hard to learn
