is learning stocks actually worth it?

i wanna start by saying its kind of an obvious question.. i’m sure it is but the time and effort it takes is definitely big. i also want to say im actually interested in it if it can help my future and im not trying to be one of those retard sheep that follow tiktok trends because some 20 year old got rich off it.

i’ve been watching charles schwab videos and some felix prehn trying to grasp basics.

is there anything i should know? anything more practical or better? any good org guides/yt channels you guys know of?

definitely. i’d like to build a decent portfolio while i’m young, i’ll probaly get a min wage job (20 something an hour where i live) and put a fraction of it in a savings account that pays 3% to have money to start with. also looking into bonds for something safer and they make more sense too

that kind of persuades me to get into stocks and take risks selling when the market is high, there’s always a chance of a crash or selling when it could be higher and the dude i sold to making more money.


definitely longer term though. bonds and depending on how you invest in stocks can take upwards of 25 years and more, i see no point in being rich or even alive past 65
