Is life ONLY about looks and money?

Idk what these cringe ass replies are, rofl, but the point of life is to live your life to the fullest and love your life. If you need looks and $ then achieve it. Don't even ask this on the internet, especially to actual fucking insecure retards who hate themselves. They don't even have a single million, talking about $ isn't helpful to a happy life. it's not cope, it's freedom. The world has to work this way to go round, and people have to suffer. Just follow whatever you desire and dream after all . You'll always want more anyways, even after your ideal picture of you winning in life. You will still feel sad. Everyone who is super happy is a liar. Everyone is a little bit depressed. It isn't possible not to be.

yea money is super important, idk why some users say it isn't lmao

When I think of what u said about it never being enough, I consider just LDARing and playing games/watching series 24/7 until I die... because, what's the difference of that happiness and "real happiness"?

Every goal I have is just about getting money and looking better, is there anything else to life?
objectively, life isn't about anything. We are wired, to play this "simulation" with the innate genetic desires of:
1. to survive
2. to reproduce
3. make sure that our offspring (or similar/equal genetic caring people (like family)) survive into the future. And sometimes even for humanity as a whole

That is what there is to life, imo.
For you, that results in goals around looks and money. Which makes sense. because.
1. money = better survival
2. looks - reproduction opportunity
3. money = offsrping survival.

You could maybe add social status to your goals list. as it helps with als of those 3 points.
Great resources about social status are: @Seth Walsh and this youtuber is insane great content about it!

Don’t regret it though.

I don't think that is the point of life. But also, I think it's a good mantra to have for life

I know. How "happy" people overall, is on average more innate feature of a person than based on happening. With the exception, of huge trauma events. For the rest, the base-line happiness a person has, is imo low correlated with their circumstances (exception, when it's really bad). It's just a certain level have, and I think it's usually already set at a certain baseline, by like age 12 or whatever.
People being sad/depressed/unhappy as their general mode, will be so in life for mostly lways is my observation. doesn't matter how much luck they have in life, they will stay misserable feeling.

Because those won’t suffice to fulfill needs such as having strong relationships with others or self-fulfillment needs, so you will gain anhedonia and that happiness will be nullified

The only point of life is happiness and avoiding pain. Because happiness is specifically that experience that you can feel is good in itself, and pain bad in itself.

So everything else that has value must be for the sake of that. For instance, looks gives positive self-appraisal and women (who through companionship and sexual satisfaction) give pleasure and help avoid pain through avoiding loneliness and self-depreciation.

Money is even more obviously worthless in itself. It’s just a piece of paper, it only has value as a means for other things.

Life is about increasing your future options and feeling secure in all manners. Survival+upside would be too crude.

Probably something like, ensuring you have an identity you genuinely like, that compounds as you continue to live, and the feeling of control over your own life and outcomes. So the feeling of agency.

The life game is just like wealth building. It's 1 path you live through once, under hard constraints. That's why measuring your life against hypotheticals is completely a waste of time.

The formula for both is something like:

maximize long-run time-average geometric growth, subject to a hard survival constraint: probability of ruin ≈ 0.

Design the game so you can be wrong many times and still exist. Then let edge compound.

So exploration is definitely an underrated experience. Not in the normie sense of "I travelled to all these countries". But exploration in finding out who you are. If you need to explore with your sexuality, so be it. With your looks, so be it. With your career, same again.

That's why the economic blackpill is so brutal. Many people cannot live their life to the fullest or find their real identity in the world due to brutal economic constraints. The same exists for looks and neurotypicality. You can still push yourself to the precipice within biologically or class imposed limits.

A clean mathematical version is:

I think the most misunderstood thing on this forum is that ruin in all forms (wealth, health, reputation, looks, mental health) is a geometric time averaged compounding game under hard survival constraints where the probability of ruin within your lifetime needs to be close to 0.

Wealth = you lose all your money you accumulated over year. you can't just make it back. you're ruined. you can't play the game you were previously playing, you're ruined.

Health = you end up immobilized, in critical care, or die.

Reputation = institutions, new people, groups etc reject you

Looks = acid attack, burn, accident: blackpill takes care of the cause-effect. Your life experience deteriorates through the rest of your time alive.

Mental health: Mental health is health. One of the stealthiest absorbing barriers.

(ps: none of this was written by AI. advise y'all read because I am speaking from the chest).

The common theme with ruin or near ruin is, YOU LOSE YOUR FUTURE OPTIONS

These results are based on meme ways of measuring happiness. Most of positive psychology is nonsense because they lack objective means of measuring happiness for the time being. They use self-report and degrees of happiness which are meaningless.

Not to mention ambiguity whether life satisfaction as a term is relative to the past few months of the persons life or an objective benchmark. This isn’t science.

If you read this and then see why I yap about the "importance of family money letting you fail and retry" "social class pill" etc..

It's because many lives get narrowed too quick. You see everyone wageslaving right? Many close to survival floors. Many first world professionals carefully triaging cashflows to ensure they can keep up with their survival costs (i.e., rent, food, bills etc).

Visualise this in 3rd world India and you will be able to see the concept much more clearly.

Another takeaway is that prestige and posturing/positioning often conceals hidden fragilities with peoples finances, mental health etc.

Not many people truly have much options to live life to the fullest. That's why those who try a lot of things early, often end up thriving later before commitments and constraints narrow future options.

the exploration part, been a brutal, interesting and very diverse path for me. I think, now I am in a good position I understand myself good now. And I think, it now puts me in a position, that I can move great through life. I often felt like a "fraud", but now I feel I am very well rounded in alot of aspects of life, and it's super clear what I need/want to do now and how to go about it.
I past, I was never fearfull of going äll in", putting the "going to zero" well in the options of outcomes. Because, I otherwise I fealt like a coward, which I didn't ever want to be/feel. Now I done enough things in life, inlduing stepping into the cage for fighting matches, that I proved to myself I can for sure say, I am not a coward and don't worry about it. So now, not putting "going to zero" at risk and on the line, I know and feel, it do it because of smarts anc calculation and not because i am a scared pussy bitch. That's how we all, need to overcome things, to be strong enough mentally to play this game of life, well.

I'm a little lost with what is life about for me

If I were to get both looks and money, I still wouldn't know what to do with my life in the long term. I don't understand why people try so hard and with so much excitement for the future, I don't share that feeling most of the time

Looks and money seem to be the only stuff that matters, but acknowledging that makes any hobby feel like a waste of time

Status games could be a hobby, that does help with money and having looks matters in that hobby as well.

I feel the same way but life starts after brother keep it that way trust me, I’d spend majority of the year isolating only chasing money and trying to ascend, eventually I’d end up feeling lonely and go out, socialize with friends, chase girls, waste time and money, then I feel fucking horrible and the cycle repeats itself, honestly I think it’s a trait most NDs share and I think it’s a good thing, if you keep ascending and making money it will all come to you, you shouldn’t go out and chase it, because after its all said and done your left with nothing to show for it except maybe a couple fake retarded friends and a slut that wasted your time

There is no future. Any improvements or strides you make start being weathered by the onset of aging in your late 20s. Sure your body might survive and cling to life for another 60 years, but you're already dead. You have to live the entirety of life inside your 20s basically. Everything after is just ghostworld, because you can no longer meaningfully interact with the world as a visibly old person

Look if im gonna be honest, theres legit nothing more to do in life. In my opinion ascend, get rich and do whatever you want. If you find joy in playing on your pc all day then make it worth it atleast like try trading, making a website, doing stuff for other people etc

Easier said than done

Ascending will take me a lot of money and time. I will probably never "get rich".

Isn't life way too much effort for little reward?

Yea i get you dude. But to be honest the getting rich part isnt as hard as you think. I have made guides before on how to get cash quick at any age. You can follow most guides on this forum and get 10k + monthly. No one said you had to make millions at 12.

I disagree with the money part. Thats like saying homeless people enjoy there lifes. The only fun part is injecting heroin in yourself
