Far more optimized so it runs faster and uses less ram on average whcih makes it faster on higher end pcs and more useable than windows on more low end pcs, it also allows for far more customization which is lovely if you like an aesthetic and an interface that is tailored to your desires, also installation/package instsllation is far more stresmlined and simple than traditional windows installation of finding apps and downloading them off the internet, also you just dont get forced into the retarded windows ecosystem either

Opsec/privacy is a meme for every tech thing imo which js why i dont use it as a line of reasoning to advocate for linux, pointless to argue for it when every single thing is compromised somehow, but even so linux is just better in tbis regard even if not perfect
