Is living to work even possible in 2021?

Everyone I know work to live. The reason they work is to get food on the table and they would never freely do their job if it wasn't for the money.

Is a job you're passionate about giving you enough money to live off even possible? I remember making movies with my friends from 12-13 and it was something we genuinely enjoyed doing and watching so making money off this would be living to work. Problem is the majority of actors don't make ends meat and even now famous actors like Pitt and Pattinson who are god chad good looking have talked about having problems in their early career.

If I work hard now i could probably get into a decent (not amazing) university and do like stem or some giga boring shit and maybe make a decent wage but I'd tear my eyes out doing it.
