many asians are capable of looking like latinos. in a study i remember with a dude an asian guy had much more matches when he claimed to be a latino. the way people frame their perception of you is very important. indians suffer from a huge framing failo because indian culture is low status in the west, for various reasons. a related example is a very sexy girl being suddenly considered unattractive because they were once considered male.

i think for short term things a huge thing he can do is simply pretend to be a latino. same with some asians.

it's more of a hapa thing but for dark skinned or tanned asians it is possible.

Filipinos are the only Asians that can believably claim to be latino, many of them have Spanish last names and they actually look pretty similar to hispanics. I think it can work if you have the phenotype to make it believable, like I know some Persian dudes that fraud as Italian and supposedly it helps them
