Is "Main Character Syndrome" actually just a byproduct of high-tier looks?

Obviousely, if you look better woman allow you to act however you want, but what if your a hmt+ or even hmtn, and you have a "good" personality, your not a dick, your normal, presentable, does this pshycologically make woman go for you more or less?

Sure but, "mean" guys that are attractive often show high confidence and boldness while nice guys look like prey.

They won’t look like prey compared to the other when they have the same level of appearance
An ugly mean guy comes off as arrogant and pretentious while an ugly nice guy might come off as a pushover but also isn’t awful to be around
