Yes its worth it but I doubt it gives forward growth of your maxilla or whatever you want. Many orthos dont do this for cosmetic effects because its more for airway issues. Try headgear with MARPE

it will give you slightly more forward growth but not a lot and it won't affect your mandible in any way. but it will mainly just make your maxilla wider and since your already 18 and your plates are fusing you might need to get surgical aids to see better results. upvote me
