is marpe worth it?

I currently have a narrow palate as well as a moderate overbite. I had braces as a kid but I didn’t properly wear my retainers and as a result my teeth are fucked. I’m heavily considering trying to get MARPE + invisalign but as I am already 20 I’m not sure how much that would do for me aesthetically. Pretty clueless on this subject matter and open to any advice regarding this or any other improvements I can make.

i’m working part time in college i won’t have the money to pay for that for another couple of years unfortunately

I can likely larp my way into partial insurance coverage for the marpe tho so it would still be like less than a third of what a bimax would cost me. You make a fair point though

Your fwhr is pretty low rn. Marpe can slightly increase it and improve your facial harmony. It is absolutely worth it

I personally would rather try marpe then hardmax, I have heard that marpe ruins facial harmony when done excessively, rather than just a few mm
