Is measuring your height with a tape measure accurate?

I'm 188cm while measuring with a tape measure like this. (Measuring the door frame, marking w/smth straight on your head etc. stuff)

Is this type of height measurement accurate?
Would I be taller on a stadiometer in the doctor's office?
