High status but doctors are more miserable on average and become geriatrics by the time they are at professional peak, not to mention life and death emotional turmoil, and high stress.

Plus med school, while pre-existing knowledge gives an upper hand is kind of boring? Fairly high paying tho and it seems there is something to whine about in every profession

Not talking about dermatology/plastic surgery or radiology, I don't care for that much tbh

So, is it worth it?

I’m basically doing pre-med now and I doubt it’s worth it.

You have to study 3 years of pre-med, 4 years of medicine, 1 year of residency and then add more years for your speciality.

All while acquiring hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans.

It’s like 10 years all up and you have to spend 40+ hours a week studying and attending classes.

There’s some interesting things to learn in the medical field, but it gets pretty boring tbh. I don’t like spending hours a day memorising names of bones, types of blood cells, and structure of cells. It’s interesting, but it’s too much imo.

I’d rather be an engineer, but they receive less pay overall.

I don’t want to discourage you, it’s just my opinion.

good if you want an Asian girl
